Mobility is the ability to move a joint through it's full range of motion, for example reaching your arms over your head without experiencing pain. Mobility training helps to reduce any restrictions within the body by increasing your range of motion within each joint. The ability to move freely within your body not only helps you to feel your best, but it can help alleviate chronic pain, reduce injuries and improve overall movement and athletic performance. This is a class everyone can benefit from.
STRETCH 15 is also designed for those with sore knees, backs and shoulders. Whether you injured yourself running after the kids or you've suffered with low back pain for years, improving your flexility is key to getting pain free.
This is a contempory, research-driven approach to stretching. You'll perform movements and exercises created by leading physiotherapists, yoga and Pilates teachers and movement practitioners. Your teacher guides you through a sequence of movements designed to relax and relieve tension from tight regions of the body. You'll also build strength and control around your joints. The additional strength and control you create will ensure tight muscles remain in their lengthened state and allow your body to move with ease.
